The Geneva International Airport, Genève Aéroport (GVA), is but a hop, skip and jump away from the city itself, or the grand total of about 2.5 miles. The train ride from the airport and to the city centre takes about 6 minutes with trains departing every 12 minutes during peak hours. You can also continue onwards from Geneva to France via train directly from the airport.
