Important : If you are arriving in Iceland on an evening flight from North America, this tour is NOT recommended for your arrival day.  Passengers usually arrive at their hotel around 8am.  Any delays could cause you to miss the tour departure.  Icelandair cannot reimburse passengers for unused portions of a package or land only travel once travel starts.

Head along the magnificent South Coast of Iceland, an area of mountain passes, black sand beaches and magical waterfalls. You will know you are entering glacier country when you drive across a huge black sand plain created by floods from melting glaciers every spring. You'll also pass by Skaftafell National Park and catch a glimpse of Iceland's highest mountain, Oraefajokull. Next visit the stunning Jokulsarlonid, the Glacial Lagoon. Board special land and water boats for a sail that takes you this stunning lagoon with its enormous icebergs from Vatnajokull, Europe's largest glacier. After this refreshing sail, head back to Reykjavik, enjoying scenic countryside on your drive west.

Please note that this tour will not pick up passengers at hotels outside of Reykjavik.
