If you are curious about horse trekking in Iceland, this all day riding tour is an excellent way to check it out! Ease into Icelandic horseback riding with a two hour ride through a region of lava formations and lakes. Take time to relax with some Icelandic soup and bread at the riding center's Josalir Restaurant. Now mount up on faster paced horses to try out your new skills in the volcanic mountain paths surrounding Heidmork path. Enjoy the exhilaration of and freedom of a surreal wilderness just minutes from Reykjavik. Routes taken and the riding pace varies based on weather conditions and ability of the participants. (Riding time: 5 hours)

Important:  Horseback riding not recommended for children 7 and under, pregnant women and people weighing over 2110kg.
