Here is a great way to fit adventure into a busy travel schedule! Combine caving and hot springs hiking on a half day of adventure! Start your journey exploring the underground in one of the many lava caves dotting the Blue mountains area of South Iceland. Head above ground to the Hengill volcano area and hike through a region of beautiful hot springs, surreal sulfur springs and colorful bubbling mud pools. Hike down to the "Valley of Steam" where you can bathe in a hot-spring fed river (changing rooms not available). Afterwards enjoy an organic herb tea (included) made from local mountain plants!

Tour provides helmets and lights for caving. In winter, snowshoes are provided.

Not recommended for children under 8 or for those you can't keep an adult pace on a 2.5 - 3 hour hike.

Wear: Warm, layered waterproof clothes. Sturdy hiking boots.
Bring: Water bottle, swimsuit, towel and snacks.

Please note that this tour will not pick up passengers at hotels outside of Reykjavik.
