This group of 15 islands located about 7 miles off Iceland's south coast is home to 4,300 people and millions of
seabirds.  Start with a half-hour flight to the main island, Heimaey, for a guided bus tour of towering cliffs
and a volcanic crater formed during the 1973 eruption. (You might even feel volcanic heat still rising from the ground!)  See gardens, bird life and many treasures in this special corner of Iceland.

OPTIONAL BOAT TOUR VERSION: Between Jun 1 and Aug 31, 2010 (weather permitting). 
After your sightseeing, board a boat for a spectacular seaside view of the islands and experience the fascinating sounds of live music echoing in a sea cave. -  $275 per person

Tip: Bring binoculars for bird watching.
