INFORMATION ON ICELANDAIR PACKAGES


Here you can download the booking information (PDF)

Information on Icelandair packages is located on the Icelandair.us and Icelandair.ca websites.  Please select the category “Packages and Offers” from the options at the top of the home page.

Each package page has information on travel dates, prices, applicable itineraries, inclusions, conditions and other information that you should go over with your client before booking the travel arrangements. 

BOOKING PACKAGES ONLINE

A. Sign into the Travel Agent Booking Engine, using the same Password and Login that you have used before.   (Note:  New CLIA agents will be given a special booking number after you register so you can access the system)

Travel agents will soon be able to sign in directly from the package page.  We will let you know when this is application is ready.

Note:  If you do not have a login assigned, please register for using the system here

1) Start by selecting the travel gateway, package, departure date and length of stay (duration).  Note:  The first night of your client’s trip will actually be the departure night from North America.  Example:  4 nights duration = 1 night for overnight flight and 3 hotel nights in Europe).
2) Select the number of adults and children traveling
3) Press “Search” to begin the booking process

B. You will then see a listing of hotels displayed that are available for the package during your client’s travel dates.  The lowest price available for that departure day will be displayed.  The price is shown first for total number of passengers and then per passenger.
 

1)  Your client’s itinerary will be displayed on the left hand side of the page, showing what has been booked so far
2) Select hotel option.

C) Next you can book the day tours and other add-ons that your client wants to add (descriptions and prices of the add-ons are on Icelandair.us or Icelandair.ca.):

  
Most packages will already have the hotel nights, so you will not need to add these.   Most packages also include transfers. If transfers are not included you will see a button in the “Select Package Options” box to add one way or round trip Fly Bus Plus transfers.

Important:  If your passenger is taking a multiday escorted tour, adventure tour or driving holiday, please make sure not to book something on days the trip is going to be outside of Reykjavik. 

E) Next you will see an itinerary showing everything has been booked and the total price of your package with taxes included.  

 
1)  Please look over the itinerary and make sure it looks correct.  There will also be a line that mentions commission and shows it as $0.  This line will eventually be taken out, as your actual commission will be shown in your agent confirmation sent to your email.
2)  If all is fine, please click in the box that indicates you have read over the terms and conditions and accept them.  If you want to read the Terms and Conditions page click on the link on next to the box.
3)  Select “Continue” to go to the Passenger Information page.

F)  Please add in the customer information.  The fields with a red asterisk (*) are required for the booking.
 
1)   Email address:  The booking confirmation will be sent by email.  Please enter your agency email address here unless you want the client to receive the confirmation directly to his/her email.

G)  You will next be asked to enter credit card details for your client.  When you have entered this, select “Book Now” to complete your booking.

Confirmation Process

You will receive an email with the confirmation details of everything that has been booked.  There will be two documents.  One document is for you, and this will list package details and your commission information.  The other document is for your client.  Please give this information to your client along with your agency invoice.  If you have booked a multiday escorted tour, multiday adventure tour or driving holiday, you will receive another email which contains a detailed itinerary for your client (packing list, hotel contact information, etc.)

The following information show a sample confirmation from a fictitious passenger booking a package out of the United Kingdom to Iceland
